Leadership Jackson Hole’s #HereForYouJH

Leadership Jackson Hole is a University of Wyoming Outreach Program that teaches emerging and established leaders within a community further leadership skills through education experiences. The program is a year long program. Leadership Jackson Hole participants meet once a month to learn about various styles of management throughout the state in both large and small private and public entities. As the group of leaders gain more experience, they then decide on a group project aimed specifically at benefiting their own community.

In past years, Leadership Jackson Hole participants have been responsible for projects such as park benches and water filling stations throughout the valley. This year, the Leadership Jackson Hole 2018 group has decided to initiate a mental health campaign entitled #HereForYouJH. This much needed campaign is aimed at battling the stigma of mental illness and increasing awareness of our existing resources in Jackson Hole.

Both Luxury Properties Jackson Hole and The NeVille Group are proud supporters of this campaign. We feel that there is a need to be more open about mental illness and to encourage people in the community of Jackson Hole to find help when they need it. We, afterall, have plenty of great resources, including Community Safety Network, Curran Seeley Foundation, Good Samaritan Mission, JH Community Counseling Center, One22, Senior Center of JH, Teton Youth & Family Services, and several private mental health counselors, that can address our mental health needs in this community.
