North of Jackson
North of Jackson is a large area of the valley of Jackson Hole that includes large ranches, spectacular views and the Jackson Hole Airport. This area spans north of Sagebrush Drive and East of Hwy 289, all the way up to the County Line. It includes the towns of Moose, Kelly, and Moran and completely borders Grand Teton National Park and Bridger Teton National Forest.
Within this area of Jackson Hole are only a handful of subdivisions, as development in this area is minimal. There is simply no where to build, except in a handful of pockets near the airport and up in Buffalo Valley area. Thus, this area of Jackson Hole offers the most opportunity for seclusion and retreat.
Driving in town can sometimes be challenging in the winter, but the scenery and quick and easy access to the parks and forests more than makes up for it. Furthermore, these pockets of subdivisions rarely feel the crowdedness of Jackson Hole in the summer. If you are looking for privacy, North of Jackson is the way to go.
