Special Olympics Come to Jackson Hole

The Special Olympic games have come to Teton Pines in Jackson Hole according to Jackson Hole News & Guide.

“The kids are super excited,” said Carolyn Burke, coordinator for the elementary school athletes. “Area games have gone great, and the kids can’t wait for next week.”

Special Olympics Wyoming provides year-round competition and training for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The program has more than 1,500 coordinators, fundraising volunteers, coaches and committee members to assist more than 1,100 athletes competing across the state.
