Shawn was born and raised on a cattle ranch in Wyoming. While growing up, Shawn was involved in family Real Estate development projects, both residential and commercial, throughout the state. Living in Jackson Hole for more than 25 years, Shawn has acquired a genuine respect and understanding of what Jackson Hole has to offer.
Shawn has been involved with Jackson Youth Hockey program for the past 11 years as a JYH Board member, Player & Coaching Development, and most importantly coach & mentor. Shawn and his wife Amy, enjoy spending time raising their two children while instilling in them a true appreciation for the quality of life that Jackson Hole has to offer. Amy has been a Teton County School District teacher for 20+ years, and her true passion is running – she has recently become the co-owner of Jackson Hole Half Marathon.
Shawn & Amy’s children, Dain and Paige, live life to the fullest in Jackson Hole, and can be found playing hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. Both children have also represented the state of Wyoming as captains for their select hockey team, Team Wyoming, while participating in USA Hockey National Tournaments.
